Some subjects present in this market, fortunately few, behave incorrectly by performing the certification tests in a fictitious way or falsifying the results, thinking so as to reduce the total costs of the cabling and appear, apparently, more competitive than competitors who operate correctly. Why did we write “apparently” more competitive? Because a certification carried out without strictly respecting the directives of the standards and the practice of correct procedures in fact entails an additional cost for the customer when he will be faced with problems deriving from anomalies and malfunctions of the network caused precisely by a faulty cabling system or not up to its nominal performance.
We deliberately neglect to discuss the legal aspects for which the unfaithful installer will be responsible when, by not carrying out the certification operations correctly, he fails to fulfill the obligations deriving from contractual commitments: this is a matter that we gladly leave to experts in contracts, codes and laws.
