The Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC (Legislative Decree 17/2010) provides that a machine tool equipped with auxiliary equipment is considered as a real work island, therefore equipped with its own certification and CE marking . The certification of the aforementioned work island must also be carried out in the event that the individual machines that constitute it already have their own CE certification, since compliance with the regulations of the entire work system thus constituted must be sanctioned.
For the compliance and the issue of the certification we start from the risk analysis. In this phase, our engineers check the state of the machine, in particular the safety systems present, the electrical system and the mechanical structure. The risk analysis highlights the residual risks, that is, those that cannot be eliminated even with an excellent design: for example, the electrical risk that can only be limited with adequate protections. The risk analysis is carried out at the same time as the design.
