certified network cable installer training

If someone carries out class FA measurements, for example, they have to use a device that also covers the entire frequency range from 1 MHz to 1,000 MHz and does not just offer a shortened range. On the other hand, the device must have the correct accuracy for this area of application.

This is expressed by the cabling certifies as "level" accuracy (Table 1). "Level V" accuracy is required for the class FA measurements mentioned. Using a device that is not accurate enough is similar to trying to measure graph paper with a ruler. The results are far too imprecise to show the actual parameters.

The technician should therefore always make sure that he only works with devices with confirmed and suitable measuring accuracy, because in the worst case it can otherwise lead to major problems when the system is later operated. The well-known manufacturers of the measuring devices guarantee compliance with the level ac-curacies by giving their devices to neutral laboratories, which check and document compliance with the required ac-curacies.
