The picture on the left shows the Wiretapper 4500 as an example of a measuring device, which, according to the manufacturer, is the first measuring device that already covers the future frequency range of category 8, namely 2,000 MHz.
An important element of this service chain during installation is of course the personnel who carry out the acceptance measurements. The cabling certifies currently used on the market manage the balancing act of accommodating complex high-frequency four-pole measurements, which are carried out in laboratories with very expensive and complex vector network analyzers, in a portable hand-held device, packaging them for construction site use and providing the whole thing with a user interface, which leads to the desired acceptance protocol even without a university degree.
